Inform us of your introduction to the sport of lacrosse.
"I've only been playing lacrosse for two years. I grew up playing football and baseball, and I stll play wide receiver and cornerback in football. I gave baseball up for lacrosse. It was as simple as the physical aspect of the sport, and the fact lacrosse has more contact. I'm into hitting."

Tell us about your team at DePaul Catholic.
"We finished 6-6 this past seasion, and we hopefully we'll do a whole lot better this upcoming season. We'll have a new set of captains, and I am looking forward to playing under their leadership. Our team looked good at the Rutgers MVP camp. We have enough athletes and play well as a team, but we need to really practice on (executing) our sets."

You played both junior varsity and varsity this past season, and served as the captain on the junior varsity squad. How did you embrace the leadership role?
"I really enjoyed getting the team ready to play. I wanted to make sure everybody was energized to play. I leanred that I have to train even harder as a leader, and I've gotten a lot of faster over the summer. I've beocme more focused on the sport."

You hope to have the privilege of playing lacrosse on the collegiate level. That is one of the reasons you will be in attendance on the 23rd and 24th of August. What else are you looking forward to?
"I'm looking forward to quickening my shot. I have great accuracy, but I need to improve my shot. I look forward to working on all areas of my game, and having a better understanding of where I stand. I would like to attend Rutgers; my sister goes to school there; but I just want to play lacrosse in college where ever I receive the opportunity. I just have to continue to devote myself to doing well in school."
